Laury Heating Cooling & Plumbing was founded in 1945 by brothers Charles and Paul Laury in Vineland, New Jersey. Their business was successful because they worked hard and followed these simple rules:
These two mottoes remain the foundation of the company. Because of Charles’ and Paul’s hard work, their focus on the customer, and their desire to bring new technologies to working families (for example, they began to sell air conditioners in 1954), the company continued to grow.
Ownership passed from Charles and Paul to G. Benjamin Laury and Harry Josephsen. Then, ownership was passed along to Ted J. Laury, Benjamin Laury, and John Bucolo. The company began offering Geothermal in 1990 and expanded into Plumbing in 2002.
Today, Laury Heating Cooling & Plumbing provides service to Cumberland, Salem, Cape May, Atlantic, and Gloucester counties from offices in Vineland and Pennsville, NJ. Over fifty-five men and women currently make up the staff. Keeping the family spirit and dedication, the next Laury generation is taking active leadership roles, including Ted’s son, David Laury, as well as his daughter, Kasie Harris.
