Should You Repair or Replace Your Heater?
A heating problem does not always require a new system. A repair may make sense when the equipment is in good condition and the problem can be corrected reliably.
Consider replacement when:
- Repairs are frequent or costly.
- The system has a confirmed safety problem.
- Parts are difficult to obtain.
- Heating remains uneven after airflow or distribution problems are addressed.
- You want to change fuel sources or upgrade heating and cooling together.
We’ll help you compare your options. If replacement is unnecessary, our heating repair team can address the problem.
Heating Systems We Install
Furnace Installation & Replacement
We install furnaces for homes with forced-air ductwork. Equipment choices include different efficiency ratings, heating stages, and blower controls.
As a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, we help you compare furnace options and identify the related work needed for installation. That may include changes to ductwork, venting, drainage, or the thermostat.
If you are switching fuels, explore our natural gas conversion services. Laury Heating is a South Jersey Gas Participating Contractor.
Gas Furnace Replacement in Vineland, NJ
Laury Heating replaced an existing gas furnace at a home on East Chestnut Avenue in Vineland, NJ, with a new Carrier gas furnace. Completed in September 2026, the project also included a new air conditioner and evaporator coil.
The furnace sits in a utility closet, where available space and duct connections shaped the installation plan. The homeowner was concerned about blower noise, so the plan also called for careful blower-speed selection to meet the system’s airflow needs.

Gas Furnace Replacement in Sewell, NJ
Laury Heating replaced a natural gas furnace at a home on Moray Lane in Sewell, NJ. The Carrier furnace installation was completed in August 2026.
The project upgraded an existing 80% efficiency furnace to a higher-efficiency model. We installed the new furnace in the basement with PVC venting and condensate drainage. The heating replacement also included a new Ecobee thermostat.

Gas Furnace Replacement in Millville, NJ
Laury Heating installed a Carrier gas furnace at a home on Mistletoe Lane in Millville, NJ, in August 2026. The project also included a new Carrier air conditioner and evaporator coil.
The basement installation places the furnace beneath the cooling coil, with return ductwork alongside it. The finished setup includes PVC furnace venting and condensate drainage.

Gas Furnace Replacement in Mays Landing, NJ
Laury Heating replaced a gas furnace at a home on Tyrens Drive in Mays Landing, NJ. The project included a new Carrier furnace, evaporator coil, and central air conditioner.
We installed the furnace in the basement. A metal transition connected the shorter replacement furnace to the coil above it. The installation also included PVC venting and condensate drainage.

Boiler Installation & Replacement
Boilers heat homes through radiators, baseboards, or other hydronic systems. Replacing a boiler requires consideration of the existing piping, zones, controls, and venting.

Boiler Replacement in Bridgeton, NJ
Laury Heating replaced a natural gas boiler at a home on Silver Lake Road in Bridgeton, NJ. The homeowner reported repeated no-heat problems and a leak in the existing combination unit.
We installed a Weil-McLain ECO Tec 150-C boiler in the basement. The installation connected the new boiler to the home’s heating piping and existing venting. It also included condensate drainage.

Heat Pump Installation & Replacement
A heat pump provides heating and cooling. The right equipment depends on your home’s heating needs, ductwork, electrical capacity, and backup heat requirements.
A dual-fuel system pairs a heat pump with a furnace. We can help you compare this arrangement with other heat pump installation options.
Ductless Heating & Cooling
Ductless systems can serve additions, individual rooms, or homes without conventional ductwork. Equipment placement and capacity determine how well each space is served.
As a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Elite Dealer, Laury Heating installs ductless mini-split systems for heating and cooling.
Geothermal Heating & Cooling
Geothermal systems transfer heat between your home and the ground. Installation requires an assessment of the property, ground-loop options, and indoor equipment.
Laury Heating is a WaterFurnace GeoPro Master Dealer. Explore our geothermal installation services to learn whether this option fits your property.
Geothermal Replacement in Hammonton, NJ
Laury Heating replaced an existing geothermal unit at a home on Wood Street in Hammonton, NJ, in July 2026. The basement installation included a four-ton WaterFurnace geothermal heat pump configured for an open-loop system.
The new equipment features a two-stage compressor, variable-speed blower, and auxiliary heat kit. The project retained the home’s existing zoning and accessories while replacing the main heating and cooling unit.

Our Heating Installation Process
1. Evaluate Your Home
First, we review your current equipment and the problems you want to solve. We discuss room temperatures, system performance, fuel options, and your budget.
Equipment selection should account for your home’s heating load and distribution system. Square footage and the size of the old heater are only part of the picture.
2. Compare Equipment and Installation Options
Next, we explain suitable systems and the work involved. We discuss equipment features, efficiency, controls, and any changes needed around the new unit.
Your estimate identifies the proposed equipment and installation scope. This is also the time to review financing, rebates, and warranty terms.
3. Plan and Schedule the Work
Once you choose a system, we arrange installation and explain what access the crew will need. We also discuss the expected interruption to your heating.
Same-day or next-day furnace replacement is often available in emergency situations. Projects requiring additional work may need more time.
4. Install the System and Related Components
We replace the equipment and complete the work included in your proposal. Depending on the system, this may involve ductwork, piping, venting, electrical connections, drainage, or controls.
Our in-house duct shop supports installations that require custom duct fabrication.
5. Check Operation and Review the Controls
Finally, we start the system and check its operation. The checks depend on the equipment and manufacturer requirements.
We review the thermostat, basic maintenance, and applicable warranty information so you know how to use and care for the system.
Heating Replacement Costs, Financing & Rebates
The cost of a heating installation depends on the equipment and the work required to install it.
Your estimate may include:
- Heating equipment and controls
- Ductwork or piping modifications
- Venting, electrical, and drainage work

- Applicable permits and inspections
When comparing estimates, review the full scope, equipment specifications, and labor warranty.

Heating Installation Questions
How quickly can you replace my furnace?
Same-day or next-day furnace replacements are often available. Call to confirm equipment availability and scheduling for your home.
How long does heating installation take?
Timing depends on the equipment, access, and related work. We’ll discuss the expected duration before installation. Boiler replacements, fuel conversions, and projects requiring duct changes may take longer than a straightforward furnace replacement.
Do I need new ductwork?
Not always. Existing ducts may be reusable if their condition and capacity suit the new system. Some homes need duct repairs or modifications to address airflow problems.
Can I replace my furnace with a heat pump?
It may be possible. We evaluate heating needs, electrical requirements, ductwork, and backup heat. A dual-fuel system may also be an option.
Should I replace my furnace and air conditioner together?
That depends on the condition and compatibility of both systems. If both are aging or you are changing the system design, compare a combined replacement with replacing one unit. We also provide air conditioning installation.
What warranties come with a new heating system?
Coverage depends on the equipment and installation agreement. Ask about manufacturer parts coverage, labor coverage, registration, and maintenance requirements when reviewing your quote.
