A service request at a home on Pomona Avenue in Glassboro, NJ, began after a South Jersey Gas technician confirmed two gas leaks in the basement. One was at the bottom cap of the water heater’s gas piping. The other was at an elbow along the basement gas line.
Laury Heating was called to address the leaks and provide replacement options for the furnace and water heater. The service scope also included replacing the gas shutoff valves serving both appliances.
The project expanded into a full heating and cooling installation. On October 20, 2026, our team installed a Payne gas furnace, air conditioner and evaporator coil. The furnace and coil were installed in an upflow configuration in the basement, sending conditioned air into the ductwork above.
What began as a gas-piping service request led to replacement of the home’s furnace and central air conditioning equipment.
